Welcome to the Proud Home of the Goblins

MottoWelcome to the Internet home of the Summitville Elementary School Goblins. We’re glad you’re here! Located in the rural, small town of Summitville, Indiana, we are one of two elementary schools in the Madison-Grant United School Corporation (MGUSC).

We understand that excellent communication among all within our close-knit family—our school, our students’ parents, and our community members—will aid us in achieving our goal to effectively lead and educate every student who comes through our doors. As part of this effort, we invite you to visit this website often, and find out about all of the great things happening at our school.

A Message from our Principal

Parents and Visitors,

It is with great pleasure that we celebrate the hard work and efforts of our SES students, teachers, and staff! For the 2012-2013 school year, our 3rd-6th graders scored a combined 86.4% (English) and 89.1% (Math) on the ISTEP+. With a boost from our high growth in Math, the final school grade earned was an A! We are so proud of the daily engagement our students display and the team effort given for their success. We will continue to provide our Goblins with a top-notch education, so they can continue to make us proud. Congratulations, Summitville Elementary!

Please take a look at Summitville Elementary's 2012-2013 Report Card online.

Sincerely,

Wendy Smedley
